42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist in Torrington, CT. This opportunity offers part-time or full-time hours with in-office treatments across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, and a compensation model up to 36% of collections.

The role emphasizes delivering comprehensive patient care from exam to treatment, with access to exclusive continuing education and a culture built by dentists for dentists.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
