Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist to join either part-time or full-time. You will oversee the clinical patient experience from exam and treatment plan to care delivery, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will educate patients, create and review treatment plans, maintain records, and provide restorative and preventive care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostics.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in oral cavity.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
