Job summary

42North Dental is actively seeking a General Dentist in Torrington, CT. The role supports comprehensive patient care from exam to treatment, including in-house specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The practice emphasizes patient experience and high standards of care within a modern, supportive team. The position offers flexible scheduling (2–5 days/week, 8 AM–5 PM) and competitive compensation based on collections, with full-time benefits

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from ADA CODA accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plans with patients
• Maintain and update patients' records
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education
