Qualifications
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience
- Basic life support certification (BLS) or CPR

- Ability to communicate with a diverse patient base in English
Responsibilities

You will provide chairside assistance for complex procedures, including over 20,000 dental implants placed by Dr. Andre Lee, full‑arch restorations, and periodontal surgeries. The practice emphasizes preserving natural teeth and uses digital scanning and 3‑D imaging for precise treatment, allowing you to work with advanced techniques in a practice that serves a diverse patient base in English, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese. A significant portion of the patient base consists of adults over 40 seeking implants, with younger patients for cosmetic and restorative care.
Work in a modern clinical setting equipped with digital X‑rays, CBCT (3‑D Cone‑Beam Imaging), and an intraoral scanner for digital impressions. The facility adheres to strict sterilization protocols, including a Class B vacuum autoclave, Statim cassette autoclave, ultrasonic cleaner, and treated dental unit waterlines, along with CDC and Dental Board of California infection‑control standards. Your responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, taking diagnostic‑quality radiographs, and preparing patients.
The position offers a competitive salary of $27–$32/hr based on qualifications and experience. You can also benefit from commission‑based incentives tied to your contributions to procedures such as impression taking, equipment setup, and patient education. This role requires an experienced dental assistant with 2+ years of experience and competencies in basic life support, Open Dental, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, emergency dentistry, and general dentistry.
- $27 - $32 per hour
If working 8 hours/day, 3 days/week:
- 1st year: $33,696
- 2nd year: $36,000
Expected annual salary is an example of the amount paid after one full year of employment. Actual amounts may vary depending on bonuses, working hours, etc.
