Job summary

4M Dental Implant Center in Anaheim Hills is seeking a reliable, compassionate Dental Assistant to join our premier dental implant team on a part-time basis (Tuesdays and Thursdays). You will work with an experienced clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and life-changing implant dentistry.

Responsibilities include room prep, assisting during implant procedures, taking radiographs and digital scans, sterilization, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant license in California (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years chairside dental assisting; implant/surgical experience a plus.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or CareStack).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume practice.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist dentists during procedures, including implant surgeries.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Take dental radiographs, intraoral photos, and digital scans.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas per OSHA and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in the dental software.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Perform lab tasks such as pouring impressions and sending out cases.
• Follow clinical protocols, safety regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including implant surgeries.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Take high-quality dental radiographs (x-rays), intraoral photos, and digital scans (as applicable).
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas according to OSHA and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting within the dental software system.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
• Perform lab tasks as assigned (e.g., pouring impressions, sending out cases).
• Follow all clinical protocols, safety regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.

• Current Registered Dental Assistant License (RDA) in the state of California, preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred; implant or surgical experience is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
