Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a General Counsel for a remote contract role. You will create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks based on diverse real-world scenarios and company requirements, draft and annotate commercial agreements, and provide expert commentary on best practices for contract management and negotiation strategies.

You will curate eligible transaction materials, evaluate existing templates for efficiency and risk, collaborate with the team to meet project guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or prior experience as a General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel with a strong focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management within corporate environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail and clarity.
• Knowledge of industry-standard practices for contract review and risk assessment.
• Experience developing or utilizing contract negotiation playbooks specifically designed for companies.
• Familiarity with document-driven project assignments, including sourcing and submitting eligible materials.
• Ability to work independently and deliver concise, actionable insights for AI training purposes.
