Liberty Personnel is partnered with a Global Law Firm seeking to add an Ethics & Conflicts General Counsel to their firm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance to firm leadership, partners, and internal departments.
• Oversee ethics, conflicts of interest, and professional responsibility matters.
• Review and address potential conflicts involving clients, matters, lateral hires, and business relationships.
• Advise on attorney conduct, confidentiality, client obligations, and applicable legal and ethical requirements.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to risk management, compliance, and professional responsibility.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to assess legal risks and resolve sensitive issues.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law.
• Significant legal experience, preferably within a large law firm or sophisticated legal organization.
• Strong experience with legal ethics, conflicts of interest, and professional responsibility matters.
• Experience advising senior leadership and handling sensitive, complex legal issues.
• Knowledge of attorney conduct rules, client confidentiality, and law firm risk management.
