Virta Health is seeking a forward-thinking General Counsel to scale a high-growth healthcare tech company. You will oversee all legal affairs, partner with the CFO/CEO/Board, and drive IPO readiness while leveraging AI to streamline operations, contracts, compliance, and risk management.

The role requires deep experience in venture-backed environments, strong executive presence, and the ability to influence across functions during rapid growth. Note: remote-first with hubs in Denver and SF.

Qualifications

Experience leading legal teams in a high-growth tech/healthcare company.
Experience as General Counsel or senior legal leader at a company with $200M+ revenue.
Strong business partner mindset, not just a gatekeeper.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Virta's Legal team with clear priorities and operating rhythms.
Advise the executive team and Board on legal, regulatory, governance, and business matters.
Partner with Commercial, Product, Clinical, People, Finance, and Operations to enable growth.
Oversee corporate matters including governance, financing, transactions, and risk management.
Direct healthcare regulatory and compliance strategy in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Prepare the organization for future public company requirements and disclosures.
Support complex commercial contracting with enterprise customers and partners.
Build scalable legal processes and AI-enabled workflows.
