Macdonald & Company seeks a General Contractor Recruiter/Candidate Resourcer to join our Houston team in the Energy Corridor (16200 Park Row, TX 77084). You will identify construction professionals, conduct interviews, and move candidates through the full cycle—from outreach to offer.

General Contractor Recruiter/Candidate Resourcer

As demand from our clients continues to grow for our General Contractor recruitment practice we are looking for another recruiter to join the team.

We've already hired the leader of the division and their number two. Now we're looking for someone to work alongside them both to help drive candidate identification for active mandates with our clients.

The role is based in our Houston Energy Corridor office at 16200 Park Row, Houston, TX 77084.

What you'll be doing:

• Sourcing and identifying high-calibre construction professionals using LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn and other research tools.
• Building relationships with superintendents, project managers, project executives, estimators, preconstruction professionals, operations leaders and executives.
• Conducting candidate interviews to assess technical experience, career goals and cultural fit.
• Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
• Writing candidate profiles and presenting shortlisted talent to clients.
• Maintaining accurate records and market intelligence within Bullhorn.
• Mapping target companies and building talent pipelines for current and future assignments.
• Working closely with clients to understand hiring needs and search requirements.
• Supporting retained executive search assignments for leading General Contractors, developers and owners across the country.
• Building a long-term network of construction professionals and becoming a trusted advisor within your market.
