Job summary

Knife River Corporation in Montana is seeking a construction laborer to perform physical tasks outdoors, handling concrete, asphalt, and gravel materials, and operating small equipment as needed.

You will follow safety procedures, pass pre-employment screening, and work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends; company-paid medical, dental, and vision benefits are available along with 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks for long periods outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and some weekends.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
• Place, shovel and rake concrete, asphalt and gravel materials with hand tools.
• Lift and carry tools and forming materials.
• Pound concrete pins and secure forms.
• Run small engine equipment such as plate whackers and jumping jacks.
• Other duties assigned as needed by Foreman.

Minimum Qualifications;

• Valid driver’s license but a CDL is a preferred
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Assure all safety procedures are followed
• Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, some weekends
• Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
