Job summary

Knife River in Kalispell, MT is seeking a hardworking laborer to perform physical tasks outdoors in all weather conditions. You will place, shovel and rake materials, operate small equipment, and support the foreman with various duties.

The role requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts, occasional travel, and the ability to pass drug and background checks while enjoying company-paid health benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
• Place, shovel and rake concrete, asphalt and gravel materials with hand tools.
• Lift and carry tools and forming materials.
• Run small engine equipment such as plate compactors and jumping jacks.
• Other duties assigned as needed by Foreman.

• Other duties assigned as needed by Foreman

Minimum Qualifications;

• Valid driver’s license but a CDL is a preferred
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Assure all safety procedures are followed
• Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights and some weekends. Some travel is required.
• Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
