Job summary

Knife River Corporation is hiring a concrete finisher to perform concrete finishing tasks and support field operations. The role requires physical endurance, basic tool handling, and adherence to safety guidelines. CDL preferred and pre-employment screening are part of the process.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and life insurance. The candidate will work with hand and power tools to form, pour and finish sidewalks, curbs and gutters, with potential for varied shifts

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Flexible shifts including days, nights and some weekends.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks for long periods in all weather conditions.
• Place, shovel and rake materials with hand tools.
• Use power and hand tools.
• Ability to use floats, trowels, edgers and screeds for finishing concrete.
• Form, pour and finish concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter.

• Place, shovel and rake materials with hand tools


• Use power and hand tools


• Ability to use floats, trowels, edgers and screeds for finishing concrete


• Form, pour and finish concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter

Minimum Qualifications;

• Minimum of 2 years of concrete finishing experience


• Valid driver's license but a CDL is a preferred


• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time


• Assure all safety procedures are followed


• Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, some weekends


• Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
