Job Description

The Department of Dermatology is looking for a Specialist, Trainingto support the department's Residency Program.

The Specialist, Training accomplishes responsibilities by applyingspecialized and theoretical knowledge, principles, and concepts ofa professional discipline normally acquired through advancededucation or specialized training. Resolves issues and significantmatters on behalf of management by utilizing independent judgment,discretion, creativity, and analytical thinking. Contributes to thedevelopment and evaluation of goals and objectives. Createssolutions to ensure legal and policy compliance. May independentlymanage or administer programs, processes, projects, or resourcesand applies intermediate level knowledge, concepts, principles, andskills.

Responsibilities

• -Develops and delivers classroom and/or web-based training forprofessionals on a wide range of topics relevant to departmentprograms.
• -Assists senior level staff in the development/modification ofcurricula.
• -Assessand analyzes general and specific training needs withinan assigned population using generally accepted methods,techniques, and format appropriate to the training field.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development,business, communications or related degree.
