Job summary

GEM Plumbing & Heating seeks a Generac Generator Technician to troubleshoot and repair residential, commercial, and some industrial generators. You will provide excellent customer service, prepare accurate estimates after diagnosing issues, and upload service reports into the CRM.

Travel within RI, MA and CT is required. You must be Generac certified, hold a journeyman license, and have 2–3 years of field experience.

Qualifications

• Generac certified and journeyman license required.
• 2–3 years of residential or commercial generator experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of local and national codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair Generac systems per specs and codes.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and locate causes of breakdowns.
• Prepare accurate service estimates and upload reports in CRM.
• Collaborate with technicians and apprentices to meet project goals.
• Maintain safety, document work, and read blueprints.
