Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Gene Therapy Account Manager to support SCD and TDT within the Southeast territory (FL, GA, AL). You will serve as the primary contact for activated treatment centers, drive patient access, reimbursement readiness, and cross-functional coordination to enable Casgevy adoption.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years in key account or sales management.
• Experience in biotech or specialty fields (cell and gene therapy, hematology) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary POC between ATCs and internal partners to support patient access, reimbursement and readiness.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders at sites of care and referring sites.
• Develop and execute account engagement strategy and track KPIs and patient milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely access to solutions for HCPs and decision-makers.
• Own account planning and coordinate field team activities to drive future success.
