Deloitte’s Forward Deployed Engineers work with clients to turn AI ambition into enterprise-scale impact, pairing engineering excellence with pod-based delivery. The role focuses on GenAI-enabled solutions, service integration, and hands-on ServiceNow development across multiple platforms.

Expect to mentor teammates, engage with senior stakeholders, and travel up to 50% as part of delivering production-quality AI solutions in dynamic client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years of software/data/analytics engineering experience.
• 1+ years building GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating problems into AI solutions
• 1+ years of reliable, well-documented code
• Ability to travel 50% on average
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• 4+ years of ServiceNow IT consulting/industry experience
• 3+ years in large technology engagements
• 2 full life cycle ServiceNow implementations
• Team lead experience
• CAD certification
• Familiarity with Now Assist and AI Agents
• Hands-on ServiceNow development across Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, App Engine, and Now Platform APIs
• Claude/Claude Code experience a plus
• CLAUDE.md memory files and Claude Code MCP integrations familiarity

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
• Partner with leaders to align priorities and drive delivery.
• Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive client outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver AI solutions using industry expertise.
• Contribute within an FDE pod and mentor teammates.
• Build AI-enabled solutions and scalable engineering patterns.
• Apply architecture decisions balancing quality, latency, cost and risk.
• Deliver production-quality code with testing, CI/CD and documentation.
• Design extensible functionality and support sprint sizing.
