Job summary

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer who will design, build, and deploy production-ready AI and GenAI solutions for clients. You will bridge cutting-edge AI with real business outcomes and lead end-to-end initiatives across data ingestion, deployments, and monitoring.

You will collaborate with business and tech teams to translate needs into scalable AI architectures, ensuring quality, performance, and cost efficiency while mentoring junior engineers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, AI/ML, or data engineering with hands-on AI/GenAI delivery.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience building production-grade AI apps.
• Experience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agentic AI and modern AI engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI/GenAI solutions.
• Translate business challenges into production-ready AI capabilities for clients.
• Design and implement scalable AI architectures, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Ensure quality, cost efficiency, and scalability across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable AI assets and accelerators.
