Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst in Pune, India, to drive Generative AI initiatives. You will shape scalable AI platforms, integrate ML/LLM capabilities, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade, cloud-native solutions.

The role emphasizes agentic AI, GenAI frameworks, and collaboration with researchers, data scientists, product managers, and engineers to advance Citi's AI strategy.

Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years of hands-on engineering experience in scalable enterprise solutions.
• Deep expertise in AI, agent-based systems, machine learning, and advanced software engineering practices.
• Expert Python programming.
• Experience with Generative AI frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI.
• Advanced knowledge in Large Language Models (LLM), with experience in vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• ML and NLP experience with relevant libraries and tools.
• GenAIOps experience deploying GenAI models in production.
• MLOps experience using MLflow.
• Docker containerization experience.
• Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• GenAI solution development: implement scalable agentic AI frameworks for banking use cases.
• Full-stack integration of ML/LLM tools into end-to-end AI solutions.
• Prototype and evaluate cutting-edge AI advances, notably autonomous GenAI technologies.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, product managers and software engineers to scale AI across Citi’s products.
• Write production-grade code, drive PoCs, and set engineering standards.
• Deploy AI-enabled capabilities to secure, cloud-native, scalable services.
• Design and execute rigorous evaluation metrics for AI systems and agents.
