Job summary

Citi in Pune, India, seeks an experienced Senior Generative AI Engineer with 12+ years in software engineering and a strong Java full‑stack background. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise AI solutions using LLMs, agentic architectures, and robust APIs, while integrating Python AI workflows with existing Java systems.

You’ll lead architectural decisions, drive best practices in CI/CD, security, and reliability, and collaborate across teams to deliver high‑impact AI

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience with focus on Generative AI.
Hands-on Java full-stack development experience required.
Expert-level Python with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or PySpark.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of LLMs and agentic AI architectures.
Strong API design and secure, scalable systems.
Experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, NumPy.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering and execution of scalable enterprise Generative AI solutions from concept to production.
Design and implement AI models and systems with LLMs and agentic architectures.
Integrate AI services into enterprise systems via robust APIs.
Apply Python frameworks for AI development and system integration.
Leverage Java development to build robust enterprise applications.
Ensure software development best practices, CI/CD, and security principles.
