Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an engineer to join the Erica AI team, building AI-powered conversational banking experiences. You will design, develop, test, and operate scalable software platforms and AI-enabled applications that serve millions of clients across digital channels.

You will work with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG, focusing on enterprise-scale AI systems, secure cloud-native architectures, and high-impact customer solutions within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of software development experience with Java or Python.
• Strong OO programming and software design skills.
• Experience building enterprise apps and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and modern AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG techniques.

Responsibilities

• Code solutions and unit test to meet acceptance criteria and compliance.
• Design, develop, and modify architecture components and interfaces.
• Mentor engineers on CI/CD practices and automation.
• Refine requirements and estimate work for delivery lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and product leads.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
