Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Lead Engineer (GenAI) to design, develop, and operationalize enterprise-scale GenAI solutions. You will work across teams, delivering secure, scalable AI capabilities with strong focus on security, risk, and responsible AI.

Partners across product, engineering, and business units to translate requirements into production-ready GenAI components, utilizing LangChain, LangGraph, and cloud-native tooling.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of software engineering, platform engineering, or AI/ML solutions.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with GenAI technologies including LLMs and RAG.
• Strong knowledge of agentic AI concepts and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Proficiency in Python and microservices-based development.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI solutions at enterprise scale.
• Lead GenAIOps lifecycle including architecture, integration, and monitoring.
• Architect scalable, secure GenAI applications across cloud environments.
• Develop scalable, maintainable Python microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor senior engineers.
