Job summary

Jackson Lewis seeks a Practice Innovation Attorney to advance the firm’s innovation objectives by identifying opportunities to leverage GenAI-enabled solutions in legal practice. You will translate practice needs into workable use cases and drive adoption with attorneys, knowledge management, and IT teams.

The role requires expertise in labor and employment law, familiarity with AI tools, and the ability to bridge complex technology with practical legal workflows.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal practice experience or equivalent in legal technology, operations, or innovation roles.
• Demonstrated experience with legal AI and GenAI platforms (e.g., Harvey, Westlaw AI, Lexis+ AI, CoCounsel, or similar).
• Strong understanding of legal workflows, litigation processes, and how emerging technologies can be applied.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value opportunities to improve legal work using GenAI-enabled solutions.
• Translate requirements into practical use cases, workflows, and functional requirements.
• Lead adoption efforts, including training, coaching, and communications for new tools.
• Collaborate with practice leaders, IT, and vendors to validate and implement solutions.
