Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to drive AI-enabled improvements in legal workflows and client service. You will translate practice needs into practical solutions, partner with legal engineers and IT, and lead adoption of innovative tools across the firm.

The role emphasizes responsible use of GenAI, collaboration with knowledge management, and guidance for practice leaders. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal practice or equivalent experience in legal technology/innovation roles.
• Demonstrated experience with legal AI/GenAI platforms (Harvey, Westlaw AI, Lexis+ AI, CoCounsel, or similar).
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and how emerging technologies apply to tasks.
• Ability to identify opportunities, develop practical recommendations, and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify recurring challenges and opportunities for innovation and AI-enabled improvement.
• Translate requirements into clear use cases, workflows, and functional requirements.
• Lead adoption efforts for tools and use cases, including training and communications.
• Collaborate with HR Learning and Professional Development to integrate AI initiatives into onboarding and development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on responsible and effective use of firm-approved AI tools.
• Develop playbooks, prompts, and quick-reference resources for adoption.
