Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. in San Francisco is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to advance the firm's innovation agenda by identifying high-value opportunities to improve legal work through GenAI-enabled solutions.

You will translate practice needs into practical technology-enabled workflows and lead adoption by attorneys and staff. You will collaborate with legal engineers, knowledge management, IT, and vendors to design use cases, validate solutions, and develop safeguards for responsible AI

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5 years of legal practice or equivalent in legal technology, operations, or innovation.
Demonstrated experience with legal AI and GenAI platforms (e.g., Harvey, Westlaw AI, Lexis+ AI, CoCounsel, or similar).
Strong understanding of legal workflows and how emerging technologies apply to tasks.

Responsibilities

Identify recurring challenges and opportunities for AI-enabled improvement in legal work.
Translate requirements into use cases, workflows, and functional specs.
Partner with IT, knowledge management, and vendors to test and refine solutions.
Lead adoption efforts with demonstrations, training, and communications.
Develop playbooks and guidance for responsible AI use and escalation paths.
