Job summary

Zions Bancorporation’s Enterprise Technology and Operations team seeks a Manager of AI Engineering & Generative AI Development to build and lead a team of AI engineers. You will guide GenAI deployment, ensure secure, scalable solutions, and align with security/compliance standards in financial services.

You will bridge engineering, cyber security, and business stakeholders, delivering end-to-end GenAI initiatives and forming a strategic technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, architecture and systems development.
• 3+ years data science/AI (ML or GenAI).
• 3+ years leadership or team management.
• Experience delivering AI/LLM GenAI solutions in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing AI engineering team.
• Oversee end-to-end GenAI and AI application development.
• Collaborate with Cloud Eng, Enterprise Architecture, and business leaders.
• Provide architectural and technical direction for GenAI initiatives.
