Job summary

ZS is seeking an AI Engineering Manager within ZAIDYN Engineering & Architecture to own end-to-end architecture and delivery of GenAI-enabled platform systems. You will lead multi-tier teams across API, data, and AI layers, driving performance, reliability, and production readiness.

You’ll mentor engineers, set standards, and partner with Product, AI/ML, DevOps, Data Engineering, and Consulting to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams building GenAI-enabled systems.
• Strong backend engineering with Python and API design.
• Experience with multi-tier distributed applications across backend, data, and AI layers.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for large-scale AI platforms.
• Define engineering standards, design patterns, service boundaries, API approaches, data models, and platform architecture decisions.
• Architect and build production-grade GenAI-enabled systems with LLMs, prompt pipelines, model integrations, and agentic or workflow-based approaches.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and scalable implementation practices.
• Own delivery across high-impact, parallel workstreams with planning, prioritization, risk, and execution discipline.
• Ensure systems are observable, reliable, and production-ready with cloud-native and CI/CD practices.
• Partner with Product, AI/ML, Data Engineering, DevOps, and Consulting to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Build engineering culture through coaching, hiring, and clear expectations for technical excellence.
