Job summary

Scale is seeking an Engagement Manager on the Generative AI team to be the face of Scale to leading AI labs and model builders. You’ll own end-to-end relationships, translate researchers’ needs into delivery programs, and help secure future work through trusted follow-through.

As a core cross-functional partner, you’ll work with Operations, ML, Engineering, and Finance to ensure successful delivery of Scale's GenAI products and services, with emphasis on precision and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in consulting, technical program management, or project management.
• 2+ years of experience in B2B client-facing roles.
• Experience in a high-growth environment, cross-functional work.
• Technical background in CS, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Ability to discuss ML training lifecycle with technical customers or learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end account management from scope to completion.
• Translate requirements into human-data programs run by internal teams.
• Manage communications and follow-ups across multiple projects with detail.
• Act as a consultative partner shaping needs into deliverables.
• Monitor delivery against throughput and quality, flag risks and blockers with solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and planning to improve delivery efficiency.
