Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a data and AI engineer to design, build, and operate end-to-end ML/GenAI data solutions. You will work with product, operations, and engineering teams to deploy AI capabilities across large-scale lending platforms, focusing on data quality, governance, and security.

The role emphasizes MLOps, lifecycle management, and production readiness with a strong emphasis on collaboration and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years overall experience in software engineering with hands-on Python and AI/ML
• Experience productionizing ML models using MLflow and MLOps frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Refine and deliver data requirements across the delivery life cycle.
• Code solutions to ingest, transform, and control data in operational and analytical systems.
• Build data pipelines and data sets to enable data-informed decision making and governance.
• Develop and execute test plans across integration, regression and performance testing.
• Drive complex IT projects ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to release processes.
• Document data engineering requirements for deployment, maintenance, and business functionality.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure data standards adherence and communicate solutions.
