Job summary

Scale is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Customer Platform (GenAI) to lead connectivity and API integration efforts across a fast-paced environment in San Francisco or New York. You will drive architecture, mentoring, and end-to-end delivery of platform features.

You will translate business ideas into scalable engineering solutions, influence team culture, and oversee cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable, high-quality products for our customers.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to translate business ideas into engineering solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Excited to join a dynamic, hybrid team in SF or NYC.

Responsibilities

• Own large areas within the product.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external customers.
• Build features end-to-end: front-end, back-end, system design, testing.
• Deliver experiments with velocity and quality for customers.
• Oversee product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Influence culture, values, and processes of the engineering team.
• Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
