Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is hiring a Solutions Engineering Lead for Consumer to manage a small team and own the technical interface with our largest consumer accounts.

You will stay hands-on in demos, prototypes, and architecture discussions while raising the bar on technical excellence across the vertical. You will shape reference architectures, evaluation frameworks, and SOW patterns to scale operations; work with GTM, Product, and Engineering to prioritize roadmap input and ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or technical consulting).
• Hands-on development in Python or similar.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical individual contributors; credible tech lead track record matters more than title.
• Experience with high-scale consumer-facing systems and performance/cost tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and grow a team of 3 to 5 Solutions Engineers; set expectations and hire as the vertical scales.
• Own the technical win on our strategic consumer accounts; be hands-on in demos, prototypes, and architecture conversations.
• Build the vertical's technical playbook: reference architectures, demo environments, evaluation frameworks, and SOW patterns.
