Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is hiring a Solutions Engineering Lead for Consumer to manage a small team and drive the technical strategy for high-velocity consumer accounts. You will stay hands-on with demos, prototypes, and architecture decisions while growing your team and establishing scalable playbooks.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure solutions meet performance, cost, and quality targets for millions of users.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with customer-facing tech role.
• Hands-on development in Python or similar.
• Experience mentoring technical ICs and leading teams.
• Experience with high-scale consumer-facing systems and cost/perf tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and grow a team of 3–5 Solutions Engineers.
• Own the technical win on strategic consumer accounts, stay hands-on in demos and design discussions.
• Build the vertical's technical playbook including reference architectures and evaluation frameworks.
• Serve as the domain authority on GenAI at consumer scale and related latency/cost tradeoffs.
• Partner with AEs and GTM leadership on account strategy and pilot scoping.
• Collaborate with forward-deployed SWE/ML engineers to move designs into implementation.
• Translate patterns into input for Product and Engineering and influence the roadmap.
