Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a STEM field (Data Science, CS, Engineering, Physics, etc.).
• 6+ years in data science, data engineering, software engineering, or MLOps.
• 6+ years in AI/ML algorithm development and data analysis across NLP, time-series, CV, graph models.
• 6+ years programming with Python, Keras, PyTorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Docker, Kubernetes.
• 6+ years with ML and deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, GANs).
• 4+ years leading teams on complex projects.
• Willing to travel ~10% and reside within commuting distance to Deloitte offices.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI opportunities driving competitive advantage.
• Lead technical strategy, roadmap, and prototyping of AI/ML solutions.
• Guide clients in AI strategy, EDA, model building and production deployment.
• Oversee development of predictive and generative AI models for scalable systems.
• Support interdisciplinary team to achieve production performance.
• Promote best-practice validation and deployment, testing.
• Present findings and deployment options to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster their development.
• Develop skills to advance to leadership roles.
