Job summary

Nelnet is seeking a GenAI Delivery Engineer to own the build and deployment of agentic AI solutions on the Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise Platform. You will translate backlog items into working agents, integrate RAG pipelines, and ensure reliable, scalable deployments for higher education and SLED clients.

Collaborate with Data and AgentOps engineers on data readiness, infrastructure, and quality. A hybrid work model is supported with in-office components where possible.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience building and deploying GenAI/agentic AI solutions in production.
• Experience with Gemini models or Vertex AI familiarity preferred.
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines and multi‑agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic assistants on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
• Implement RAG pipelines and grounding using platform capabilities.
• Build live API and tool‑calling integrations with client systems.
