Job summary

Norwich Regional Adult Education, part of Norwich Public Schools in Norwich, CT, is seeking an Adult Education General Test Proctor. The role offers part-time hours (6-8 per week), a starting date of immediately, and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

The Proctor will conduct pre and post assessments, ensure compliance with testing protocols, and support registration and testing at multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must understand and adhere to standardized assessment protocols.
• Flexible, willing to work daytime and evenings, and to travel to satellite programs.
• Ability to work with computer-based testing.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred (Creole, Spanish, French, Chinese).
• Proctors will complete training modules for TOPS and certification as a CASAS test proctor.

Responsibilities

• Arrive early to prepare for scheduled assessments.
• Upload tests to desktops or laptops; begin test sessions for satellite locations or remote tests.
• Assist with GED/ABE/CDP/ESOL registration and understand the registration process.
