Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
• 3+ years experience with SRE principles and practices, including monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization.
• 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• 3+ years experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• 3+ years experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Google Deployment Manager).
• 3+ years experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for GCP-based applications and services, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Google Deployment Manager).
• Implement security best practices for cloud resources, including IAM, data encryption, and network security.
• Monitor and manage cloud resources, including VMs, containers, databases, and networking components.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems using Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• SRE best practices, including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Work with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
