Koniag Government Services seeks a GCP Cloud Product Owner to lead vision, strategy, and delivery of GCP services for a government agency. The role requires translating business needs into actionable user stories and partnering with engineering, security, and leadership to ensure secure, compliant cloud capabilities.

The candidate will own the roadmap, drive Agile governance, and ensure successful delivery within FISMA baselines while aligning with customer missions and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years as a Product Owner/Technical Lead delivering enterprise cloud solutions, with at least 3+ years focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing backlogs, epics, and user stories using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
• Experience building or managing cloud capabilities operating within FISMA Moderate and/or FISMA High / FedRAMP security frameworks.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher.

Responsabilités

• Define the product vision, roadmap, and release plans for the agency’s GCP cloud environment.
• Maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Serve as liaison between executive leadership, agency stakeholders, security teams, and engineering teams.
• Lead backlog refinement, feature prioritization, and sprint goals; participate in all Scrum ceremonies.
• Oversee lifecycle and service strategy for multi-tenant cloud environments under FISMA baselines.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to embed continuous delivery, IaC, and zero-trust security into releases.
• Translate enterprise strategies into architectural requirements and engineering epics.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements for faster secure deployments.
