Koniag Technology Solutions, Inc., a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Principal Cloud Security Engineer with a Secret clearance to support federal cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP in Washington, DC. This onsite role may offer hybrid flexibility and requires expert cloud security leadership.

You will drive security architecture, governance, and continuous monitoring, mentor teams, and lead A&A strategies to maintain continuous authorization to operate in federal environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years in cybersecurity/cloud security, with 5+ years securing enterprise clouds.
• Proven experience across two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep familiarity with FISMA/NIST/CMMC federal frameworks.
• Active Secret clearance or higher (Top Secret preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of multi-cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Architect and integrate CSPM/CWPP/CIEM with SOC operations.
• Define Security as Code practices within IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, SARs, and ATO artifacts.
• Mentor engineers and align security strategies with mission objectives.
• Coordinate with agency leadership and AO/CISOs on risk and compliance.
