Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services invites applications for a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer. You will guide customers adopting Google Cloud, creating secure foundations, automating provisioning, and designing scalable architectures.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products. Responsibilities include proposing architectures, migrating workloads, and coordinating with sales and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD with Kubernetes and Linux.
3 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
Experience coding in Python, Java, Go, C or C++ including data structures and Linux.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

Propose solution architectures and deploy cloud networking solutions per customer requirements.
Design and implement cloud architectures and migrations that enable business objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into assets and methodologies.
Interact with sales, partners, and customer stakeholders to manage scope, priorities and timelines.
Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings and delivery activities.
