Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services seeks a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to guide customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and to design secure, scalable cloud architectures. You will lead automated provisioning, migration, and modernization efforts in collaboration with product and engineering teams.

In this role, you will help customers maximize GCP value, drive best practices, and deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
6 years automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD with Kubernetes and Linux.
3 years project management and technical solution delivery.
Experience coding in Python, Java, Go, or C/C++, Linux environments, and Kubernetes.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

Propose solution architectures and deploy cloud networking solutions per requirements.
Design cloud-based architectures, migrations, and optimizations to meet business goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices and publish assets.
Coordinate with sales, partners, and technical stakeholders on scope and timelines.
Travel up to 30% for in-region delivery activities.
