Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services is seeking a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to guide customers in adopting GCP services, building secure foundations, and automating provisioning of infrastructure and apps.

You will work with Product Management to drive excellence in Google Cloud offerings, helping customers migrate, build, modernize, and optimize applications across the globe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD using Kubernetes and Linux-based systems.
• 3 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
• Experience coding in Python, Java, Go, C or C++ including data structures and Linux environments.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Propose solution architectures and deploy cloud networking solutions per requirements.
• Design cloud architectures and migration approaches to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into assets.
• Engage with sales and customers to manage scope, priorities, and timelines.
• Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings and delivery activities.
