Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services guides customers through pivotal moments in their cloud journey, helping businesses transform with Google’s global network and data centers. You will provide guidance on secure foundational cloud implementations and automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features, interacting with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C/C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Responsibilities

• Provide domain expertise in cloud security and compliance, and be a trusted technical advisor to customers.
• Design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet security requirements.
• Manage stakeholders within customer environments to deliver consensus and positive outcomes on GCP.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
• Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
