Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical methods in compliance with QA programs. The role focuses on GC/MS and semi-volatile analyses, with training on instrument software and safety practices.

The position is 1st shift, Monday-Friday/Sunday-Thursday, 7am–3:30pm. Qualified candidates will hold a chemistry-related degree or equivalent lab experience and be proficient in English.

Qualifications

BS or BA in Chemistry or related field; associate degree acceptable.
2 years of related lab experience can substitute for a degree.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Prepare samples using standard techniques.
Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
Evaluate and quantify data; report unusual test occurrences.
Maintain instrument and training records; ensure QC samples are completed.
Operate and maintain GC/MS and related equipment; follow SOPs.
