Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is hiring a Laboratory Technician I to support GC and GCMS departments. The role involves sample prep, instrument loading, inventory management, quality assurance, and routine maintenance. The candidate will contribute to efficient lab operations, timely analyses, and safety compliance.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in California with a 9:00 AM–6:00 PM training shift and a later 1:00 PM–10:00 PM shift, offering a 10% differential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Coursework or experience in chemistry, environmental science, biology, or related field preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Aufgaben

• Prepare laboratory extracts and samples for GC/GCMS analysis, including dilutions and addition of standards.
• Load samples onto analytical instruments and support routine operations.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and upkeep of GC and GCMS instrumentation.
• Maintain communication with supervisor and project managers about status and priorities.
• Document sample preparation details and observations.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
• Wash and maintain glassware, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform quality control activities and logbook documentation.
• Monitor inventory of standards and consumables.
