Job summary

Centurum Inc. in Chesapeake, VA seeks a skilled technician to install, repair, and operate the Global Broadcast Service (GBS) across its product line. You will coordinate responses to ship and field issues (CASREPS) and provide technical leadership to fellow technicians.

You will advise the GBS engineering team, mentor junior staff, and help ensure quality and safety standards while interpreting plans, drawings, and fabricating test specimens as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or related military experience or trade school.
• 10 years of professional experience solving technical problems.
• Ability to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to design and fabrication of test specimens.
• Experience with CAD and shop drawings; familiar with material specs.
• Ensure product, service and process meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and operate GBS across its product line.
• Coordinate response to ship and field technical problems (CASREPS).
• Provide technical leadership to other technicians.
• Provide technical advice to the GBS engineering team.
• Mentor and train junior engineers/technicians.
