Job summary

Centurum is seeking a highly experienced RF and sustainment engineer to support Global Broadcast Service (GBS) systems, including maintenance, modernization, and logistics support. The role requires on-site visits, testing, and coordination with Navy personnel.

The candidate will perform pre-installation checks, on-site software installation, system turnover, and provide technical documentation and briefings. A Secret DoD clearance is required and travel is up to 25%.

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years hands-on specialized Radio Frequency Communication Systems experience and in-service sustainment engineering functions.
Education as specified: Associate degree or equivalent training in electronics/IT fields.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Perform Technical Sustainment Support (TSS), Sustainment Engineering (SE), Modernization Support (MS), Logistic Support (LS) and other SATCOM Technical Support Service for GBS systems.
Provide GBS POR activities: SOVT, PICO, engineering/field changes, CASREP analysis, TFBRs, and technical reviews.
Provide CONUS/OCONUS on-site technical visits to troubleshoot, verify functionality, test components, and perform NEOF testing.
Assist with Pre-Installation Check Out (PICO) prior to installation.
Provide onsite software installation and system turnover, including pre-installation production, staging, on-site installation, testing, training and cutover.
Deliver status updates to senior Navy personnel and produce written instructions and technical data deliverables.
