Job summary

Centurum is seeking a qualified individual to support Global Broadcast Service (GBS) systems from Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on technical sustainment, modernization, and field support for SATCOM equipment, including on-site troubleshooting, testing, and component replacement.

The candidate should have at least five years of hands-on RF communications experience and in-service sustainment engineering exposure, preferably with Navy GBS or similar shipboard systems.

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on RF communication systems experience.
• Experience in in-service sustainment engineering functions (evaluation, testing, maintenance).
• Navy GBS or shipboard communication systems program experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Technical Sustainment Support (TSS), Sustainment Engineering (SE), Modernization Support (MS), Logistic Support (LS) and other SATCOM Technical Support Service for GBS systems and crypto/modems.
• Provide GBS POR activities including SOVT, PICO, engineering/field changes, CASREP analysis, TFBRs, and engineering reviews.
• Provide CONUS/OCONUS on-site technical visits to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; perform testing to verify full functionality; identify and replace failed components; provide NEOF testing as needed.
• Assist with Pre-Installation Check Out (PICO) prior to installation.
• Provide onsite software installation and system turnover support, pre-installation production/testing, staging, shipping, on-site installation and SOVT, training and cutover.
• Deliver task status via briefings to senior Navy personnel and develop written instructions, procedures and technical documentation as applicable.
