Fogo de Chão is hiring a Gaucho Chef to prepare and cook churrasco, grill to guests' requests, and present dishes in the traditional gaucho style. This on-site position involves maintaining grill cleanliness and delivering warm Brazilian hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking beef and other meats in churrasco style is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook special cuts of beef and other meats according to traditional Brazilian churrasco recipes.
• Season and grill food according to prescribed traditional method and guests' requests.
• Portion, garnish and present to guests in gaucho style.
• Answer guests' questions about churrasco and Brazilian gaucho culture.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grill area.
• Complete beginning or closing shift duties.
