Fogo de Chão in New York is seeking a Gaucho Chef to master traditional churrasco techniques and deliver authentic Brazilian dining experiences. You will prepare and grill meats, season to guest requests, and present dishes in Gaucho style while engaging guests about the culture.

Full-time hourly role with benefits, requiring weekend and holiday availability; $11.35 per hour with tipping included to enhance earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and cooking churrasco-style beef and other meats
• Ability to season and grill to guests' requests
• Ability to portion, garnish and present in gaucho style

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook meats according to traditional Brazilian churrasco recipes.
• Season and grill food according to the prescribed method and guests' requests.
• Portion, garnish and present to guests in gaucho style.
• Answer guests' questions concerning churrasco and gaucho culture and demeanor.
• Maintain grill area cleanliness.
• Complete any opening or closing shift duties.
