Globalstar Inc. seeks a skilled engineer to support Gateway Systems, interface with engineering, reliability, and operations to maintain uptime and SLA adherence. You will analyze data, validate new systems, and help optimize network performance through proactive diagnostics and documentation.

The role emphasizes cross‑department collaboration, troubleshooting, and steady learning of satellite communications. Occasional travel and after‑hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred with applicable skills.
• Strong ability to analyze, summarize, and document solutions in complex environments.
• Clear understanding of satellite-based communication and networking basics.
• Experience with automated scripting and data tools (Power BI, AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data with overlapping departments to improve network performance.
• Validate and verify new systems; define requirements and thresholds.
• Provide operational software and product test support.
• Take ownership of projects and create processes to optimize performance.
• Conduct proactive system performance analysis and maintain SLA commitments.
• Train and cross-train department staff and document procedures.
