Globalstar Inc. seeks a Gateway Manager to supervise staff, manage consumables and budgeting, and plan resources for gateway systems. You will back up duties during staff shortages and coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure high availability.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong telecommunications knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed to support 24/7 network operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED-equivalent.
• Engineering technician/technologist designation useful but not required.
• 5+ years hands-on telecommunication operations experience preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of PSTN, LAN, WAN, UNIX, and PC operating systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the Globalstar satellite earth station operations and maintenance.
• Lead a small technical working group and coordinate with service providers.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and gateway system knowledge.
• Ensure preventative maintenance routines are followed and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Travel domestically and internationally for short- to medium-term assignments.
